This is a personal passion project: a fully illustrated and animated interpretation of the poem "Beside the Fire" from The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien.
I created everything from scratch — from concept and storyboarding to illustration, animation, and sound design. All visuals were hand-drawn and animated by me, aiming to capture the quiet nostalgia and bittersweet longing that run through the poem.
This piece was a creative experiment in combining my love for Tolkien’s world with storytelling through motion.
